When my older son was a baby and a toddler, he had a shock of black hair that stood strait up on his head and shiny, bright eyes full of keenness and curiosity. I wondered how those shiny eyes were seeing the world, and this booklet is a song of questions dedicated to his small self -- and other small selves!  I worked on the booklet to mark my son's second birthday, and made a few copies for family and friends. In a way the booklet has a slightly melancholy air, because I realized while making it that one day he would truly grow up. --EH
